Sand Writing Tray with Stylus

Our wooden Sand Writing Tray is made from Victorian Ash hardwood timber and comes with a wooden stylus. Fill the tray with your choice of sensory fill: sand, rice or grains, then draw freehand or use the wooden stylus to draw letters, numbers or shapes. Create a zen garden with stones or crystals and allow your child to free draw patterns. We’ve added a slot so you can place educational alphabet cards or sight cards so your child can copy and draw in the sand. Your child will enjoy a sensory experience while learning at the same time.

Product Information

All our products are hand crafted by us in our Little Big Workshop. We source all materials locally and love to support our local suppliers and business partners.

Please note that each piece of timber is a little different, just as much as each tree has it’s own life and is subject to different temperatures stresses and strains. We choose to use Victorian Ash which has natural features unique to the eucalypt hardwoods of Australia. There may be fire streaks or gum lines and knots. This is the benefit of using hardwood timber, knowing that every piece is uniquely different.

  • The beauty of the natural grain is enhanced with a child-friendly wax. Due to the nature of timber, grain and colour may vary slightly.

• We use couriers for delivery. If you would like shipping with Australia Post, please let us know in the notes section above.
