You no longer need to mark the kid’s heights on the walls or door jambs 🤣 Use our height rulers to mark your family’s heights over the years and take it with you if you need to move. Our Solid Timber Height Rulers are so unique and we have taken every care to produce these heirloom quality rulers for your family.

Measurements are etched into solid Victorian Ash timber. We choose not to use decals as they peel off over time and our rulers are heirlooms to keep for generations. You may choose from natural timber or various stains. You will fall in love with our height rulers and create some beautiful memories with the family!

The height ruler begins at 20cm and is meant to hang above the skirting boards. Measurements on the ruler go up to approximately 184cm. If you’re a tall family, we can have the ruler go higher (we’ve done 200cm before!). There is a hanging hook on the back of the height ruler which can be hung with a screw or nail in the wall, see images.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

All our products are hand crafted by us in our Little Big Workshop. We source all materials locally and love to support our local suppliers and business partners.
Please note that each piece of timber is different, just as much as each tree has it’s own life and is subject to different temperatures stresses and strains. We choose to use Victorian Ash which has natural features unique to the eucalypt hardwoods of Australia. There may be fire streaks or gum lines and knots and from batch to batch it can vary in colour. This is the benefit of using hardwood timber, knowing that every piece is uniquely different. If you would like to select your timber before we cut it, please advise us in the notes section and we can send you photos of the timber.

LEAD TIMES

Approximately 1 week from order date. If you require your ruler earlier than this, please send us a message and we will let you know if we are able to meet your timelines.

- Natural finish: Due to the nature of timber, grain and colour may vary.
- Optional Stain: Sutherland Teak, Jarrah or Coco Black (additional $10).
Optional Engraving: add an engraved personalised message. Type your message in the notes box above (additional $15).
If you have added an engraved message, we will send a draft image within 7 business days. Please check your email so you can approve artwork.
Artwork drafts are only a representation of colour and the final product may vary slightly.

SHIPPING:

$20 flat rate shipping on all height rulers.
We use couriers for delivery. Due to the size of the rulers, we cannot send the rulers via Australia Post, please provide a postal address for delivery.
Shipping times are out of our hands, but generally take 1-4 days to most metro areas. During peak periods, couriers experience higher than normal delays. We will send you shipping information once your order has been completed. Please contact the courier directly to track your parcel.
We are not liable for missing packages once the courier has picked up the goods. If you would like insurance on your shipping to cover damages or losses, please advise us and we can arrange it.
